On February 14, 2022, Urban Anime Lounge held its sweetest event yet - the 5th Annual Sweet Valentine virtual exchange. The event, which promotes friendship, love and cheerfulness, invited group members to exchange heartfelt and humorous messages with a bag of assorted sweets. The event culminated in over 60 participants and 350 messages mailed all over the U.S. 

Sweet Valentine started as a way to uplift platonic love during a holiday dedicated to couples. It has become especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic as it is a way for members to physically connect in the absence of live gatherings and events. We look forward to next year!
